Salutations! I'm an AICP certified urban planner now based in Portland, Oregon. From 2017 to 2025 I worked at MAKERS architecture and urban design in Seattle, one of the NW's most influential planning firms. At MAKERS I worked as a planner and project manager in housing policy, zoning code modernization, GIS analysis, community engagement, and transit-oriented subarea planning. I received my Master of Urban Planning degree from at the University of Washington in 2017 and graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 2009.
After college I served in the Peace Corps in Paraguay, working in the Education and Youth Development sector, primarily working on Spanish -language early literacy programs in primary schools and with small rural libraries. In the fall of 2016 I had the opportunity to study housing and urban form for four months in Copenhagen Denmark, funded by the Valle Scholarship. I have also spent extended time in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and South Korea.
