ABOUT ME

I am an urban planner/designer recently graduated from the Master of Urban Planning programs at the University of Washington in Seattle. I grew up on Vashon Island, Washington, and studied International Affairs at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. I served in the Peace Corps in Paraguay, working in the Education and Youth Development sector, primarily working on early Spanish literacy programs in primary schools and with small rural libraries. I have subsequently worked with Burn Design Labs, Stewardship Forestry, the City of Burien, and Community Day School Association, Seattle Architecture Foundation and Bikeworks. In the fall of 2016 I had the opportunity to study housing and urban form for four months in Copenhagen Denmark, funded by the Valle Scholarship. I love to travel and to learn about how history has shaped the places I have lived in or visited.

On this site you will find my resume, examples of urban design work, photography, and several pieces I have written. Feel free to contact me using the form below.
